Ultralight dyneema webbing for extreme projects, whether it is an alpine highline in Chamonix or a true monster longline.
Product description
EQB Lagoon is a webbing made of dyneema / polyester mixture, fifty fifty.
Dyneema provides extremely low weight and high strength, polyester helps reducing slippage in weblocks and webbing grips. 100% dyneema webbing don't hold in these devices very well.
It is important to insert the Lagoon in the weblock doubled or make the tail tie-off (which is a must with any other webbing used on a highline anyway).
Lagoon starts slipping at 9-10 kN tension in a standard weblock (main diverter diameter 25 mm). With our webbing grip EQB Grippen, you can reach about 4-5 kN tension, with original Linegrip you reach about 9 kN (due to larger rubber surface).
Lagoon has the best weight to strength ratio from all our webbings - it has strength over 30 kN weighing just 35 g/m !!
We also offer the webbing as highline split segments of 50 and 100 metres with sewn loops at both ends:

FAQ
Due to its low stretch we recommend to use Lagoon on longer highlines (about 100 m long and more).
